Big Brothers Big Sisters
This is our core program that separates Big Brothers Big Sisters from all other mentoring Programs. All of our matches are professionally supported and a casemanager will work with you through the life of your match. Process: To be a volunteer in our community based programs you must: submit to a background check, reference checks, a home visit, orientation/training, an interview, and monthly contact with a casemanager. To be a Big Brother or Big Sister in our Community Based Program, you must
be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation. In this program, volunteers pick
children up from their homes and spend time with them in the Community. Bigs spend an average
of 2-5 hours a week with their Little Brother or Little Sister.
